We are grateful to report that Danny seems to be doing well after recently being extricated from a trench. Thankfully it appears that his injuries are relatively minor given the situation that he was in.Safety takes top priority here at Apollo Drain. As such, we take every safety precaution on our excavation job sites including strict adherence to all OSHA standards. We believe this was an unfortunate accident possibly due to the recent overabundance or rain in our area.We would like to take this opportunity to address the information being reported by the media regarding our 2013 OSHA fine. We were indeed fined $250 for a “serious” violation which pertained to a missing guard on a bench grinder located in our office / shop. During 2013, we also had 3 job site OSHA inspections which we passed with no violations. Had the job site at the center of Monday’saccident been in violation of any OSHA standards, OSHA would not have hesitated to lock down the job site. As with any accident, we conduct a thorough investigation to determine what measures can be taken to help prevent future accidents. We are also grateful for the quick action of Danny’s coworkers. All indications from emergency personnel are that they likely saved his life.We would be remiss if we didn’t extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of the emergency personnel that worked tirelessly to not only extricate him, but to keep him calm in what was surely a frightening situation. We continue to be deeply moved by the outpouring of support, often from unexpected sources. Many have reached out to extend their concern and well wishes for Danny. Your many kind words have touched us, and your supprot means the world to us.As a direct response to several inquiries, we have established a “gofundme” page(http://www.gofundme.com/
